Webinar: The Black Church & LGBTQ Rights 3

You are invited to a panel discussion among African American faith leaders about the importance of passing bipartisan federal legislation with protections for LGBTQ civil rights and religious liberty, moderated by Kendra Johnson, the Executive Director of Equality North Carolina.

With the 2022 midterms approaching and momentum rapidly gaining in many states for anti-LGBTQ laws, our nation is reaching a critical juncture to take meaningful action to provide civil rights protections for all Americans at the federal level. Legislative language is ready. What’s needed is action by Congress. The panel will discuss the need for urgent action from their perspectives as faith leaders in the broader context of calls for civil rights for LGBTQ people across the country.

The event will be live streamed and open to the media and the public, including time for a Q&A session. Please RSVP and share this invitation widely with anyone in your networks who may be interested.
